Recently, the company's top executive a key figure updated employees about this strategic move through an official communication, which highlighted that playtesting had shown the requirement for a more defined vision.
The president noted that the team is now reimagining the project with a refreshed approach, aiming to better meet gamer demands.

Brinkman currently serves in the position of executive producer and production lead at the renowned studio for their flagship title. He earlier worked at Treyarch and Activision in diverse production roles on the Call of Duty games, and, before that, had periods at 2K and Electronic Arts.

The upcoming game was revealed in last year together with a community playtest. At the time, 31st Union described the title as a "no-cost, 3rd-person roguelike hero shooter and an innovative step forward on the category."
